  1. Hi guys, I am looking to DIY something like a corner "rack" for my bathroom. Anyone with experience or knows what materials I need ? and maybe the steps in doing it. Appreciate it thanks
  2. Hi guys, My renovation is 98% done. I am fully satisfied with my electrician. He is a flexible guy (in terms of price) and also in attitude. A very easy to talked to guy. I bought ALL my lightings from TaoBao and some came in batches, my ceiling fans were from Tampoi in JB. He is OK to install bit by bit for me, example my first batch of lights came first, he sent his worker nearby to install just that batch for me, and he told me when next batch of lighting come, he send his worker come to install again. This is how flexible he is. He doesn't even collect a single cent from me until my job is FULLY done. (You go around see which electrician will do that. Haha) For those of you who want his contact, please PM me with your Name and Contact Number. I will link you both up. Just for reference his pricing (per point): These prices are just for reference, trust me, can go lower New Lighting point: $32 Single Point: $45 Double Point: $55 Install Lights: $10 Install ceiling fan: $50 Disclaimer first: I understand that many people in RenoTalk is afraid of self-promoting scams. Due to the fact that there are too many self-promoting contractors, etc, I must say I am not a clone account nor this recommended electrician's self promoting. I am just a satisfied customer and I think I should share around the good work and helping anyone who is looking for a trust worthy electrician. Just see my past posts and joined date can verify my profile already

  4. Hi TS, mind sharing which ID you chose and his/her contact details.
  5. I typed in very simple English. I forgot when I message him, anyway does;t matter anymore. It is basic courtesy to read and even reply a short "I will get bla bla bla to get back to you, or even a shorter "I am busy now" I cannot tahan people not replying or calling back. and you said it yourself, they have a couple of projects on hand. having so many people recommending them on renotalk, I wont be surprise they have more than 20 on hand. I won't want a guy (or a pair of guys) that handles toooo many projects.
  6. Hi can I get Mr. Foo handphone number pls. thanks.
  7. just a quick update, I message Mr. J, he obviously read my message but didn't reply at all. Like i mentioned in my previous post here, once an ID/contractor gets too popular in forums, problems starts to occur. I wouldn't want a guy that don't even have time to reply to a simple message to do my house. Just my 2cent.
  8. follow, as I am going for resort theme as well
  9. Hi clownprice, can you share the contact of your storerroom racks. couldn't PM you, your inbox is full
  10. that is the problem with ID/contractor that is too popular when everyone start asking for their contacts, in the past there are contractors that are very popular in renotalk and subsequently their reviews starts getting bad, too many projects to handle, cannot do the work properly
  11. I am also thinking of getting ceiling fan from JB Tampoi, are u buying from this shop ? perhaps our WWT2 people in the FB group can all go in together one day, haha.
  12. omg, now that HRC told me which ID company he belong to, I remember him all over again. If you search my post here: http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/23527-anybody-engage-id-note/page-18#entry684464 my girlfriend actually engage him years ago, and had unpleasant experience with him. No wonder the name sound so familiar.
  13. HI can you PM me your ID name, his company and your soft copy quotation to my email (which I will disclose when you PM me) thanks,
  14. TS, for Kompacplus, did Calvin quote you same price as directly calling the Kompacplus hotline ?
  15. Wow, you went to countless and only 1 came back with quotation. not to mention your budget is $40K (which I feel is actually reasonable). I am at the stage of sourcing for my Mr/Ms Right person for my house. Therefore I am curious is it the fact that those IDs that you went to are from those big reputation companies ? thus their quotations are over $50K ? or because you required alot of stuffs to be done in the reno ? Do elaborate about it, looking forward to your completed home,
  16. don't think there will be any update from TS, been soooo long since he/she online here.
