  1. OMG I just read this. From what I remember, this trevor DOES NOT have my number we PMed a few times but I don't remember giving to him How to call me then? Even if he has .... I don't have his, so how to know he's calling and avoid his calls??!!! And.. I do not have my hp with me when I am at work. I cannot answer calls at work. sorry seashell for bringing this redundant thing up but I really have to clarify. If I knew you had problems contacting Uncle, I really would have helped you then. Despite all that has happened I do hope you have a good new year. I'm glad to see that you feel less headachy... and more 看得开 about Ah Soon. Yes you must get back your hard-earned money. Yes you must be very firm with him and not believe anymore... but don't let things affect your health.
  2. haha you make yourself sound so ... pathetic.. forced to start a T-blog. Wah demolished for glass walls!! then it'll make the place look even more spacious!
  3. mmm mine are 60 X 60... yup.. dun flood kitchen too
  4. wahhh Firstly I love that corner which will really make you work at it. haha But it'll really be unique and certainly good for your household. Eventually when you (if you) have kids then your kids can learn some responsibility by taking care of the plants! They have have one which will grow with them. Secondly I love the sofa. And I think... I know what yellow and grey... prolly pastel yellow and a medium neutral grey. haha i have a few tops in that colour combi. And.. I love the way your wedding venue was done. beautiful and inspiring.
  5. The 3D looks fine I guess. You're not going to have shower screens in your toilets? Rem to keep the door and gate open when you go to the house tonight. not good for you to be shut in by yourselves. Are the agents going? Some neutral parties will be good.
  6. ya!!! orange and white is SO MUCH nicer and more unique!!!
  7. agree! I love your toilet wall tiles... and your house looks HUGE!
  8. newbie... when you mention "contractor in sengkang" are you referring to Ah Soon? Tot Ah Soon live in Woodlands...
  9. cat!! we got similar doorbells and switch!!
  10. mm I did the same as Macbart too. I took a floorplan and I different highlighters for different points.. and did small markings on the floorplan, along with the distance away from the wall and pasted that on the wall of the house... and went through with the electrician on top of that...
  11. I second that. Then we'll just hop over for a weekend of fun!
  12. poor girl. Mickey is right.. your ID is suppose to liaise with your electrician.. but you still need to convey your needs... Like if in the study, you need points for your computer, PSP, Wii, fan, standing lamp.. then you will need a certain number of points in the room otherwise you will be putting extensions all over the place... *hugs* nvm nvm.. you can ask / complain anything here.. we will try to help when we can? I do hope those people get OUT soon...
  13. nice!! my family hardly eats at home so we just want a table top in the kitchen for misc. So we don't have a dining table at all. My parents prefer eating in front of the TV anyway. haha
  14. ooo I want that for my dining table as well.. with cabinets on the wall side.
  15. Just wanted to air my views... I'm one of those who paid more than $400k for a 5-room 25 year old flat. On top of that we paid a high COV.. and paid the same amount for an overhaul of the place. But I never regretted it. By now, most of you (older forummers) would know that the place is for my family (not a lovenest) to stay in. It's basically for my parents. They.. AND we, spent 3 years looking at flats in many areas... more than 100 units (HDB alone) and about 50 in this area alone. And my area is very small so I've practically been to every block. It had been so difficult to get my dad and mom's expectations to match.... THEN to make sure their expectations matched with ours AND our pockets. We could not buy direct and they didn't want to buy direct either. So after such a long search... we managed to find this flat. And we're all very happy living in it now. We're paying for it comfortably without much worries cause we made calculations. BTW it's not them paying.. it's the young ones. So financially we're very much like you all.. or worse. But we managed. I think at the end of the day... don't think about how much HDB is cheating you... the agent is cheating you... or the seller is cheating you... it's not something you can really help anyway. Think about how much you can really afford. Live within your means and find something you really like. I doubt anyone here has viewed houses for 3 years? After trying to sell a place a few years ago... I realise that the moral of the story is not to try to dig as much $ from the buyer as you can... but to set a selling price and once it hits, sell. And then don't think about how much more you could have earned if you held on... or things like that.. who knows? next day, stock mkt might crash and everything goes to shreds. Same as buying ba. Once you see a place that's ok and within means... buy. Don't think about... tmr's viewing might be better/cheaper/easier to close deal... Anyway... life's too short. Who knows. my lousy two cents.
  16. hahaha ORHHHH feimei.. I wrote this in the other thread...
  17. whahah I KNEW IT! was trying to dissuade my friend. cannot imagine watching it with the two of them as lead actors. No offense to the fans. hehe
  18. hehe if you miss it.. go youtube it! http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer..._type=&aq=f
  19. For the one nearer to the wall you use the ceiling fitting like mine. You can get the kvartal panel curtain fittings. you get the railing (which comes in 1-track or 3-track), then the ceiling fitting which helps you attach it to the ceiling.. and the top-bottom rail to fit on the cloth so that you can attach the cloth to the rail on the ceiling.
  20. On his website it lists his ROC (business registration number), but no HDB license number. You can check here. http://www.hdb.gov.sg/bn25/isos118p.nsf/Li...Company%20Name/
