Yoz, my MBR can put bathtub, but I didn't put. Didn't wana waste $ on water bills, and didn't wana clean the tub after every bath. But the previous owner did have one. So thought to post the pics to show u.

hi tritesse, i'm a masionette owner in the process of gg thru a renovation too. let me share what we have observed-> we've seen some units that have done roofing works at the balcony area. however, what they have done is to start the roof just below the window of the bedroom on the 2nd floor. this will create a higher ceiling than a typical roof which starts midway. hope this gives you some idea on what to do

Walk up or 1st floor?

I like to walk pass that stretch between that 2 blocks .. very chalet feel... There is one house which did resort style.. very nice..

I did quite alot of carpentry, redid whole kitchen and MBR toilet, hack & relay foyer & balcony floor, overlay common toilet floor, marble polishing, painting and whole house rewire. Total round up $36k.

How's the talk and quotation with Yeak? Do u intend to overhaul or just some parts of the house?

How's the talk and quotation with Yeak? Do u intend to overhaul or just some parts of the house?

went down yishun with my gf polly to see mr yeak...he seems to have good knowledge in reno houses.

my new house is in very poor state...have to redo the following things

1)hack n retile whole house plus 3 toilets and 1 kitchen and balcony

2)change windows and grills

3)rewire whole house

4)2 wardrobes in mbr

5)1 kitchen cabinet

6)paint whole house

budget is pretty tight...so far got qoutations between 57k to 40k....dunno how much mr yeak will qoute.

I am actually familyof4's husband's colleague....this friday will go down to their house in pasir ris to meet ah soon.....hehe

this is actually the cheapest. if windows are from hdb, keep it.

I didnt do grill for MBR, if Mr spiderman can climb in, he can have everything.

no grill(cage for balcony) , only do grill separating livingroom and balcony.

3)rewire whole house

below 3k

4)2 wardrobes in mbr

subjective - from 2k onwards

5)1 kitchen cabinet

Yes, it is behind the coffe shop.. the lift is ready now luckily as i am on the walk up. i got it at 41X... urs?
